Metapattern is an Australian techno artist based in Berlin, known for a sound that respects the early foundations of the genre while pushing toward new ideas. His work has appeared on labels such as MORD, Hayes, Truncate and Key Vinyl, reflecting a focused, minimalist approach that stays expressive and driven by the dancefloor. He co-founded Lost Sonar during the pandemic, a project created to film live techno performances and highlight the immediacy of artists working in real time. His sets have taken him to cities including Amsterdam, Melbourne, Kyiv, Tbilisi and Berlin, where his style continues to grow and shift.

Outside of performing, Metapattern is a committed educator. He is an Ableton Certified Trainer and the author of a book on techno production, sharing knowledge and helping new producers understand both the technique and the culture behind the music.
