Magna Pia

Magna Pia is the solo project of producer, DJ and composer Hüseyin Evirgen. Rooted in techno, his
music treats repetition, rhythm and movement as forms of ritual. Combining physical drive with
psychedelic depth, his sonic manifesto often expands into abstract ambient spaces.
Distant musical languages surface within Magna Pia’s electronic voice as sublime atonalities, shifting polyrhythms and patient transformations. Tension and beauty dance side by side, in fluxus between
direct physicality and transcendental states.

Since launching Magna Pia in 2016, Evirgen has released music on Counterchange, Crescent London, Temporal Variation, Feral Note, Soma and Nachtstrom Schallplatten. His wider history includes more than a decade as part of Cassegrain, with both projects taking him to clubs and festivals around the world and forming a wide‐ranging body of recorded work.

He performs both as a DJ and as a hardware‐based live act.
